Took Katrina to the Pool tonight. I love Wednesdays. We have the entire pool to ourselves, so no distractions. She did quite a few torpedoes without the ski belt. New lessons start in May. Very excited since she’s almost to the point where that ski belt can go bye bye for good! 🙂
#$%%^^^#$%% Binge…!!!!♤♡◇♧¿
Binged last night with huge bag of nachos and cheese. Continued the binge this morning finishing up that nacho bag and cheese jar… then continued by buying those 5$%^;<<#@@&> cheap day old donuts at Casey’s that I just ate a few of…
I do so good dietwise then a weak point comes and all bets are off. I need to break the cycle.
Getting up at 4 makes me feel tired by the time work is over. Decreasing sugar when I can is messing with my eyes making things blurry if I go many hours eating right. Carb flu hits me hard . Dry eyes and bad allergies make it hard to breathe and that just amplifies it all, especially at this blooming time of year..
But it’s time to overcome all of this and get back in line…
app
5 Minutes on Daily Workouts App this morning.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tinymission.dailyworkoutsfree&hl=en_US
What I like about this app, Daily Workouts free is that it is kind of set up like a tabata thing where each exercise is done for a minute. I also like that it has a video that guides you. What I don’t like about it is that it is fairly boring… no intro, no talk about technique to help you improve, etc. It just gets right in to the workout, which for simplicity is kind of nice I suppose.
I’m also investigating a few other apps. I’ll probably only post the freebies here since I don’t really want to get in to some subscription stuff at the moment… too many other subscriptions with Hulu, Netflix, ABC Mouse, etc.
Only did 5 minutes since I’m out of shape and those jumping jacks and jogging about killed my legs. I will get better with this type of stuff going forward as my health improves.
Bench
After work
180 lb bench press x 20
Pre-work
Before Work workout this morning:
180 LB x 20 Bench Press
20 Lb x 20 Curls
Hamstring Stretches
Just Danced
30 Minute Just Dance Session this morning.
Hamstrings are still a bit sore from early yesterday morning. I climbed the Lookout point hill at Harley Park to the top and took some panoramas with Google Cardboard. That hill is fairly steep (greatest place to sled when the snow is out, assuming you can stop before you get to the river… 😉 ).

walking and building…
I took Katrina to Rolling Hills Park today. We walked a mile around the circle before she played on playground with some other kids a while.
After that we went home and built cubby hole shelves out of a bunch of Amazon, Pullup, and Wipes boxes. We still have some bigger boxes we’ll hold back to build a castle later. Used most of a roll of duct tape doing it but it looks nicer than it was when it was all just a pile of boxes that were taking up half of the room…
Moving around in all those boxes was difficult for this ol body. Luckily I had my little helper to hold the tape, throw boxes from the opposite side of the room to help out Daddy, etc. My back is definitely feeling it today.
Should have waited to do the Tens treatment tonight instead of this morning when I took a nap.
Managed to vacuum a bit earlier before we went to the park.
The Joy of Eating
https://books.google.com/books?id=LfPeDQAAQBAJ&pg=PT45&lpg=PT45&dq=ritual+eating+gas+station&source=bl&ots=aRN4r04yUp&sig=ACfU3U2GChZWAmauB025xt9qMtl6mKI5Rg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiLgoGzrczhAhVpja0KHT6UB4QQ6AEwE3oECAYQAQ#v=onepage&q=ritual%20eating%20gas%20station&f=false – I really like using Google Books since it allows you to read interesting parts of a book without buying it unless you find it interesting, in which case you may want to buy it. The Joy of Eating seems like an interesting take on dieting where you separate the carbs from the protein in to different meals. Most diet books tell you to do the opposite, especially if you are diabetic so that the carbs stay in the stomach and body longer, so you don’t bottom out on your sugar. Maybe changing things up to do this way where they are separate may be a better way to lose weight? Hmm?…
habits
breaking old habits and forming new ones is a tough task, but that’s what I want to do over the next little bit of time…
